Fans will forever remember McDonald’s new ‘Collector’s Menu‘. A range that displays six plastic cups illustrated with characters that continue to reside in the collective imagination such as Grimace, Snoopy, Barbie, Hot Wheels, the Coca-Cola polar bears or Peanuts.
Furthermore, if we zoom in on each of the designs in particular, we can see how some of the drawings pay homage to collectible objects that were given as gifts in previous Happy Meals. In this regard, the Shrek, Jurassic Park and Minions mug features an image of the Gingerbread Man’s watch that was available in 2010 for Shrek Forever After. Meanwhile, the Barbie mug contains images of dolls sold over the years, such as the 1999 Pet Lover Barbie.
These new collectible mugs commemorate some of our most unforgettable designs and global collaborations over the years, allowing long-time fans to relive treasured moments and helping a new generation create their own lasting memories,’ said McDonald’s Morgan Flatley.
The fast food chain will launch the ‘Collector’s Meal’ on 13 August, where diners will be able to get a mug. During breakfast, this will include a sausage and egg McMuffin, hash browns and hot coffee with a plastic cup. For the rest of the day, fans will receive the cup with a choice of 10-piece McNuggets or a Big Mac with fries and a soft drink.
The Collector’s Meal will also be available to order online and through the McDonadl’s app.
