The fast food chain, beyond serving nostalgic menus as part of its audiovisual buffet ‘As Featured in Meal‘, now enters a new dimension with this experiential action in which it goes back to 1982 to pay homage to the second season of ‘Loki’.

McDonald’s projects in one of its establishments the eighties universe of ‘Loki’, decorating it with objects from the series and authentic props from the 80s of the restaurant. And all this as an extension -or continuation- of its previous collaborative episode, hand in hand with Marvel, in which it incorporated in its catalog a menu inspired by this series, in order to sponsor its second season, which will be available on October 6 on Disney+.

The iconic burger joint, which has played a key role in the history of film and television, will also have an appearance in the Season 2 timeline, in which fans of the series will now also be able to be part of it, in some way, in this themed venue.

A retrospective trip to ’82

McDonald’s reimagines a restaurant inspired by the series with elements such as vibrant yellow padded booths, Loki memorabilia, a vintage TV, costumes, order counters with thick cash registers and menus from the 80s. Not to mention the classic McDonaldland characters, who also make an artistic cameo in this restaurant.

McDonald’s employees will also participate in this production IRL, as they will be wearing 1982-inspired uniforms with red Ronald McDonald stripes.

In this sense, fans of the golden arches will be able to go back a few decades through the time door of the ‘Time Variance Authority’ of the series, to enter this McDonald’s that will be installed for three days -from August 30 to September 1- at 6620 Bay Parkway, in Brooklyn.
