The fast food chain debuts in Hong Kong with this new menu inspired by the iconic characters of the animated series. Anime as a universal cultural phenomenon then fuels this collaboration that features a limited edition themed menu revolving around Dragon Ball.
McDonald’s Hong Kong brings the fun to the table by combining some of its hits with flavors reminiscent of the world of the series that will soon return to the small screen with its latest installment ‘Dragon Ball Daima’.
Dragon Ball fans will be able to enjoy a menu that will include elaborations such as a Katsu chicken burger or a Japanese-inspired sandwich that features a crispy chicken fried steak and a sour sauce.
The collaboration continues to surprise with Crispy Purple Sweet Potato Balls filled with creamy sweet potato puree, as well as a white grape yogurt-flavored green soda. The meal special is rounded out with McShaker Okonomiyaki-flavored potato chips, a Japanese-style condiment that evokes the flavors of okonomiyaki, an iconic savory pancake from Japan.
