Mahou creates a platform of TV and financial services for bars

Now you can tune in to the Mahou +Bar Sport channel to watch soccer or F1.

The brewery continues to supply products to bars, but this time in a new format: an offer of TV and financial services to bars in order to support the hospitality industry in the development of sustainability and digitalization, as well as generate business with it.

Mahou will merge with a bank to design current accounts or cards, while creating an OTT with which to broadcast sports such as soccer or F1 in bars: an offer that will include from financial and technical service solutions to the digitization of their businesses or the contracting of electricity and gas through the new Mahou San Miguel Soluciones Financieras service; which also includes consulting and personalized financial advice.

This strategic action in which the company has invested 90 million euros through its ‘hospitality transformation plan’, thus includes the launch of its own sports channel hand in hand with LaLiga -with whom it signed a global sponsorship agreement last year- called +Bar Sport, which will be added to the entire offer that Mahou plans to launch throughout October.
