Hip hop’s ‘boat boy’ has dived into the ocean of spirits to bring his own tequila to the surface. The Atlanta rapper’s mission was to launch the first alcoholic beverage he liked, a concept he has managed to dilute into the new Seltzer tequila called ‘Yacht Water’.

To version the three flavours of the alcoholic beverage, despite its name, the artist has teamed up with Quality Control director Coach K and Sneaky Pete Spirits. Having developed the products, sealed by the image of a fox, he has taken to social media to reveal the launch in a humorous tone. To do so, Yachty adopts a tongue-in-cheek character who admits in the clip that he ‘doesn’t really like alcohol’, clarifying that it’s not necessarily because he doesn’t drink, but because he doesn’t like the taste after having ‘tried them all’.

In the video, Yachty is seen surrounded by glasses of wine, beer and other alcoholic beverages, before setting them aside on a tablecloth to introduce ‘Yacht Water’, explaining that it has no additives, and is made up of just tequila, lime juice, sea salt and sparkling water.

The Jalapeño, Key Lime and Sunrise flavours have an alcohol level of 5.8%, and are available now in select shops. For more information, please visit Yacht Water.
