La Sirena, the famous frozen food chain, had a turnover of 178 million euros during 2023, which is 1.7% more and in figures translates into three million more than in 2022. With respect to Ebitda (gross operating profit, i.e. earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization), the chain achieved 7.8 million, up 10% year-on-year.
In addition, it reduced its debt by eight million euros, bringing its net financial debt to 5.7 million euros. In this sense, the company explained that the shareholder has reinforced its net equity by four million “guaranteeing the equity balance of the company in the long term and reaffirming its commitment to the company”. During the past year, La Sirena allocated 17 million euros to “offers and promotions aimed at helping its customers” to purchase its products.
Currently, La Sirena has a network of 275 stores, with more than 1,200 employees in total, and expects to achieve a turnover of 185 million euros by 2024, registering an Ebitda of 8.5 million euros, continuing with this positive growth trend.
