Considering that satire and marketing are often styled and combined within the Kardashian-Jenner universe, the it girl has now decided to promote her new Khy Holiday collection by versioning the viral scene of her sister Kendall slicing cucumbers.
‘KHY HOLIDAY just dropped on khy.com 🤭,’ she captioned the TikTok video on Wednesday, November 20. In the clip, Kylie can be seen sheathed in a total sequined look from her brand as she slices cucumbers in true Kendall style, with the voiceover in the background of her mother Kris and sister’s conversation at the time. An iconic moment that goes back to the second season of her reality show in 2022, in which Kendall faces the ‘challenge of cutting a cucumber’.
After finding the sequence complicated, Kendall eventually admitted that she ‘definitely didn’t cut well’ and asked that the reality camera crew not focus on her while she was performing the cut.
‘I’m doing it myself,’ commented the founder of 818 tequila. ‘It taught me everything I know,’ Kendall wrote in the comments section of the clip.
Since the episode premiered, the model has also ‘memeified’ that viral moment, calling it ‘Tragic!’ in response to a fan tweet that read, ‘Kendall Jenner trying to cut up a cucumber f—– is the most tragic thing I’ve ever witnessed,’ as well as taking it to another level when she dressed up as a giant cucumber for Halloween in 2022.
