The Japanese minimalist café characterized by its playful and nostalgic aesthetic partners with Sanrio to present Hypebeans Kuromi Café, an ephemeral pop-up concept inspired by Kuromi’s kawaii culture and Y2K spirit. A place where customers will be able to enjoy a range of Taro Latte and Ube Madeleine products inspired by Hello Kitty’s gothic friend.
The collaboration also materializes Kuromi’s fantasy in a merchandising collection represented by the character’s representative purple tone. This includes a keychain plushie, a latte plushie, a 16-ounce Nalgene Trita water bottle, a black and clear allover patterned tumbler, a graphic T-shirt, and tote bags stamped with his visual imagery.
The Hypebeans x Sanrio collection will be available at HBX until December 18, 2024. The two Hypebeans outlets in Hong Kong will feature the Hypebeans Kuromi Café from December 19.
