The Korean gaming and Pokémon fantasy community is already celebrating this release. The popular pokejungle news account has just unveiled what many of them have been waiting for for some time: Pokémon-themed doughnuts, which take on the shape and appearance of six of its iconic characters, including the lovable Pikachu and Jigglypuff.
Unfortunately, they will only be available at Krispy Kreme outlets in South Korea, which has generated equal parts excitement and disappointment online. However, high demand could lead to the expansion of the doughnut line-up, leading to replication in other locations around the world.
No official release date has been announced yet, but the Instagram account aplasticplant has shared some more images of the collaboration that expand on the drop. As can be seen in the carousel, it looks like there will be a choice of a 6 or 12-count box, with half of the dozen being original glazed doughnuts.
