Kid Cudi is inspired by the fair and the feeling of euphoria it produces to create a cake mix and merchandising collection in collaboration with Bisquick.
The festive theme thus runs from the inside to the outside of the packaging, transporting us back to the artist’s childhood summer with the making of these cakes, which he suggests combining with strawberries, whipped cream and powdered sugar. The personalized box has a nostalgic design featuring Kid Cudi and his dog Nino at the fair.
‘Funnel cakes always take me back to my childhood summer, growing up in the Midwest and going to local carnivals and state fairs. Partnering with Bisquick on this project was a no-brainer, they helped me bring my vision to life,’ says Kid Cudi. ‘I wanted to inspire fans to tap into that creativity and bring that nostalgic carnival flavor right into their home.’
The launch also includes a collection of culinary merchandise including T-shirts, dinnerware, an oven mitt and apron designed by the music star, who is portrayed on the products in animated fashion.
