To mark the upcoming premiere of its second season, KFC is taking inspiration from ‘Squid Game‘ to launch a menu that fuses authentic Korean cuisine with its iconic fried chicken. The chain has partnered with Netflix for this limited-edition culinary project that will transport diners into its survival-themed horror-thriller imagery.

In the proposal, they replace the famous sugar cookies from the series with a burger composed of chicken fillets with the original KFC recipe glazed with Korean sauce, coleslaw, pickle and a vibrant pink bun that evokes the aesthetics of the audiovisual hit. On the other hand, they offer a bucket of 12 spicy wings or 10 crispy strips also glazed with Korean sauce and sesame, which complete the Netflix x The Squid Game menu that is already available in all KFC restaurants in Spain.

In addition, in order to extend the experience of the collaboration, KFC and Netflix have organized a live activation that will take place on December 19 and that only selected participants will be able to experience. It will be presented by the content creator, Ibai Llanos, and will be streamed live on his Twitch channel.

During the event, the excitement, tension and challenges of Squid Game will be recreated, with a total of 456 participants competing for the grand prize of 40 million won (€27,108). An immersive experience that will allow the horror and drama of the series to be experienced in real life.
