‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Elektra hosted Architectural Digest at her California home on Tuesday, September 3. While giving a tour of all the rooms, Jennifer Garner took viewers inside her ‘treehouse’ kitchen, ‘I’m so excited to show you guys my kitchen because, since the day I moved in, this is the first time the countertop has been clean,’ she said in a sarcastic tone.
The movie star then shared with AD one of the elements that make that room so special, beyond its well-known connection to gastronomy. And that is that the kitchen is made of wood, since ‘it feels like you are inside a tree house’.
‘Here by myself, with my kids, on a weekend, I can’t tell you how many times I make something and feed them while it’s coming out of the oven, because I’m not very good with things coming out of the oven or out of the kitchen at the same time,’ the actress expressed.
Garner also wanted to share in the episode the creative process and the idea behind the design of the kitchen, which also features a fireplace: ‘When I envisioned my favorite kitchen, I knew I would have an area dedicated to baking. It’s so much easier to have it all in one place and know where the flours and chocolate chips are.’
