If there’s one iconic restaurant on New York’s East Coast, it’s Katz’s Delicatessen. A casual eatery that has generated a cult following around the world thanks to its pastrami sandwiches, considered the most famous in the United States. An emblem of the country’s gastronomic culture that has even appeared in scenes from films such as ‘When Harry Met Sally’.

Since the 1880s, Katz’s has been perfecting these sandwiches at its 205 E. Houston Street location on New York’s Lower East Side. Now, it will revive that hype from Los Angeles’ West Hollywood via a pop up at Bar Next Door in partnership with Postmates.

Bar Next Door will be rolling out their ‘Katz’s-stravaganza’ concept for a day. An experience where visitors will be able to enjoy the restaurant’s full menu with cocktails such as the Coors Banquet made from a lager and a ‘dirty mixed brine martini shot’, complete with vodka, pickled olives and pepperoncini brine. Their sandwiches (Katz’s pickles and house-made mustard) will be available to order on site for $16 or online via the Postmates delivery platform. There will also be items for sale to show your love for Katz’s.
