Combining representative elements of ‘The Masked Singer’ with traditional cooking competition programs, ‘Secret Chef’ invites a cast of culinary wizards from different backgrounds to test their culinary mettle. A format in which professionals, amateur cooks and creators of gastronomic content will compete for the prize in a new challenge hosted by two Michelin stars, David Chang.
Each contest challenge will take place in a secret subway kitchen maze, isolated and connected by a series of conveyor belts. Unusual spaces in which participants will have to stand their ground and fight for victory, while receiving instructions from an animated talking hat.
Unlike other cooking competitions, in ‘Secret Chef’, the chefs will evaluate each other in blind taste tests in which the only thing that will matter will be the culinary works, and not the authors.
The culinary competition will run for 10 episodes to be released on June 29 on Hulu’s virtual billboard.
