If you have already started with the preparations of the Christmas menus but you have some doubts about the starters, today we clear them up by proposing an ideal dish to surprise your guests. We are talking about shrimps with champagne or cava, a very easy recipe that will give a special touch to your dinner. We explain the step by step below.
Shrimp with champagne or cava recipe
Ingredients:
- 500 g of shrimps
- 100 ml champagne or cava
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Parsley
- Olive oil
- Coarse salt
- Lemon
Preparation:
- First peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Also wash the parsley and chop it as well. Put them in a bowl with a good splash of olive oil and a pinch of coarse salt. Stir well to mix well.
- Next, prepare the shrimp, removing the whiskers.
- In a baking dish, spread the shrimp and pour the garlic mixture on top.
- Finally, pour the champagne or cava carefully and bake at 180 ºC for about 6 minutes. Turn the shrimp over and bake again for another 5 minutes, without browning too much. Serve with lemon.
