It is Golden Milk, whose main ingredient is turmeric. It is a drink that can be prepared in just a few minutes and that, besides being delicious, has a high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory power and also helps you relax. If you have not tried it yet, here is the step-by-step of this golden recipe.
Golden Milk Recipe
Ingredients:
- 250 ml of milk (the one you usually drink)
- 1 teaspoon of ground turmeric
- A pinch of ground cinnamon
- Pinch of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
- Additional spices such as ginger, cardamom or vanilla extract (optional)
Preparation:
- There is not much mystery. Pour all the ingredients into a saucepan and put it over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
- Then lower to a simmer and let all the ingredients mix for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- If you want it frothy, you can whisk with a frother for 1 minute.
- Serve with a cinnamon stick and your Golden Milk recipe is ready!
