Nick DiGiovanni is the chef known for his cookbooks and iconic culinary career, but now also for his latent relationship with the doughnut chain.
The Dunkin’ star would begin his career at the Culinary Institute of America in 2012, later interning with chef Corey Lee at his San Francisco restaurant. In his senior year, DiGiovanni would make the leap to television on MasterChef, taking third place. Back at Harvard, the ingenue created his own specialty, christened ‘Food and Climate’.
Subsequently, Chef Nick dived headlong into the over-stimulating ocean of the internet with social and instructional videos with millions of views, as well as claiming several Guinness World Records such as the world’s largest veal Wellington at 56.79 pounds with the help of Gordon Ramsay.
His latest collaboration with Dunkin’ has been timed precisely to the digital age of the chef. And it consists of four drinks that are ordered via the Dunkin’ app. It’s the Chef Nick Menu, which appeared on the company’s mobile app on 31 July. They are available at Dunkin’ shops across the United States.
Many fans have wondered if DiGiovanni actually created these drinks himself. The answer is yes, albeit in collaboration with Dunkin’ chef Dan Cole. From the Iced Coffee with Blueberry Donut and Sweet Cold Foam to the Caramel Coconut Cream Iced Coffee fuelled by a tropical aura.
