The Hotel Bodega Tío Pepe, the first hotel in the world dedicated to the ‘sherry’, has been consolidated as the ‘Best Wine Tourism Hotel’ in the International Wine Challenge Industry Awards. Specifically, the uniqueness of this Sherry Hotel, integrated in the monumental complex of Bodegas Tío Pepe and in the historic center of Jerez de la Frontera, has impressed the jury of these awards, which have celebrated their eighth edition in Spain.
Vine-lined streets and Andalusian courtyards, next to the Alcázar and the Cathedral of Jerez, surround the hotel that has been recognized as the ‘Best Wine Tourism Hotel’ of 2023, according to the jury. A hotel that has quiet and comfortable spaces that alternate in a building recovered and formed by four houses that were formerly home to the workers of González Byass.
In short, it is a Boutique Hotel inspired by an ancient wine tradition and one of the most prestigious Spanish brands in the world, located in a historic building over 150 years old, next to the Cathedral and the Alcázar of Jérez and inside the wineries.
