Hijos de Rivera, owner of brands such as Estrella Galicia and 1906, has expanded its presence in the market by entering the capital of the Valencian craft brewery Tyris, as detailed in an official statement.

With this incorporation, Hijos de Rivera becomes a partner of Tyris, a brewery founded 15 years ago in Valencia by Daniel Vara and that, since 2015, is majority owned by Zriser, the ‘family office’ of Ana and Pablo Serratosa Luján. Tyris enjoys a notable local presence in its region.

Ignacio Rivera, president of Corporación Hijos de Rivera, has highlighted that this alliance is based on ‘the shared connection with Tyris around common values’. He has pointed out that the objective is to ‘work together to grow and bring value to the market’.

By 2024, Tyris expects to reach a production of more than 500,000 liters of beer and a turnover of 1.7 million euros. In addition, it has Tyris on Tap, an establishment in the center of Valencia where its various beers can be tasted together with a varied gastronomic offer.

Pablo Serratosa, president of Zriser, has expressed his enthusiasm for this strategic alliance with Hijos de Rivera. We are convinced that the union of Estrella Galicia and Tyris will benefit both organizations and will further consolidate the strong presence of both brands in the Mediterranean arc,’ he said.
