The actress decided to post on the Instagram profile of her modern lifestyle brand ‘Goop‘ a guided tour of her fridge, in response to the high demand she’d had for her monthly ‘Ask Me Anthing’ sessions.
Gwyneth confessed, in the first instance, that she had cleaned it out a bit before the cameras arrived, and to show all its contents. Which is no small thing.
What’s in Gwyneth’s fridge? A lot of drinks, from bottles of San Pellegrino, to Fever Tree blends, coconut water, La Croix sparkling water or Equi Tea iced tea. Also a wide variety of dairy such as milks, heavy cream or coconut yogurt. Hydration seems to carry her through the day.
Beyond that, she showed off the condiments section: mustards and hot sauces set up on her fridge door, such as Sriracha, Frank’s Red Hot Sauce or Cholula Hot Sauce.
Perhaps the most surprising thing about her fridge, though, was all the leftovers she had stored, such as butter chicken, zucchini fritters and veggie burgers. Likewise, there were olives, jam, berries and eggs scattered throughout the fridge, along with her selection of skin care products on the top shelf.
‘This is something new I started doing, it’s moisturizer in the fridge,’ she said, noting that ‘it feels amazing.’ Serums, Gua Sha and face cream also appeared hidden among cans of Avaline wine.
Of course, all of this led to haters flooding the comments section, questioning her food, or lack thereof. ‘Where’s the regular food?” one user asked. Another, with the same opinion, wrote: ‘Where’s the real food? It’s all drinks.’
