HAUKE is the Seoul coffee shop that has revolutionised the algorithm with its sculptures and edible pieces. From bananas to cakes in the shape of nikes, crocs or smartphones: all these works of confectionery are sculpted with precision from this enclave located in Ilhwa-dong.
The flavours on its aesthetic display range from cookies & cream to peach cloud: a fresh yoghurt cream cake with peach puree and a compote with peach pulp. Within his repertoire of experimental desserts, one of his iPhones, for example, is created from a soft mousse filled with Oreo biscuits and chocolate sponge.
The menu of this minimalist space with a global outlook also features a selection of artistic coffees with milk and chocolate available in three flavours: ‘Black’, ‘Caramel’ and ‘White’, which base their creative concept on the placement of a sweet bust in the centre of the cup.
In addition, the café organises on-site events to extend the HAUKE experience through candle-making workshops, art classes and discussions focusing on sustainability.
