The eponymous brand of sisters Laila and Nadia Gohar was born in 2020 with the aim of building an alternative universe of tableware that unites craftsmanship, time, tradition and humor. Through that eclectic concept, they design and sculpt products from family workshops around the world – such as Vietnam, Austria or Italy – with which to bring people together around the table and create memorable experiences.
In this sense, the creative duo (@gohar.world) exhibits series designed for leisure and for all those social events as a result of a brilliant explosion of satin, bows, lace or ironic accessories such as pearl hats for wine glasses, glass holders for knives, forks shaped like candies or candlesticks to hold eggs instead of candles. Food then becomes the medium with which they create installations and abstract ways of staging and/or representing gastronomy.

Within this craft eden, they create surreal objects that celebrate disappearing traditions, such as mouth-blown glass, various needlework and hand-dipped candles that end up becoming future relics. They also create table linens and table dressings from fine cottons and linens from countries such as Egypt.

This is the philosophy that defines the identity of this iconic label in the world of tablewear, which also immortalizes its entire universe in campaigns featuring Dalmatians or strange and disturbing personalities to celebrate generosity, humor and the spirit of the holidays. At his table, of course, there is room for everyone.
