This themed popcorn bucket, inspired by the sequel to the movie classic, may be the most elaborate to date. On the occasion of ‘Gladiator II‘, which opens on November 22, Cinemark is offering this limited edition popcorn bucket.
Its golden vessel is designed to resemble the Colosseum, composed of all its Roman columns and arches. But that’s not all; there’s an innovative feature that makes it an important collector’s item. The augmented reality ‘AR-ena’.
Each popcorn bucket comes with a QR code that activates an AR gladiator battle inside. So, if you want to relive Paul Mescal’s stellar performance, you can watch it from the popcorn bucket, over and over again.
@DiscussingFilm published a post about the popcorn bucket and users have been going crazy over the news. ‘These buckets are getting out of hand, but this one is really cool,’ wrote one user. Another added: ‘It’s not as fun as the dune bucket, but I’m still going to give it a try’.
Cinemark has not yet put the cube on sale either online or in theaters, nor has it announced how much it will cost. We will have to wait for them to be released.
