Gallo‘s ‘3 Minutespasta has seen a 9% increase in sales, driven by its revamped image and its ability to meet the growing demand for convenience products, the company said on Wednesday.

Gallo’s range of quick-cooking pasta is made up of five varieties, to which a new option has been added this year: soup noodles, ready to eat in just one minute. Montse Santafé, head of Pasta Salud at the brand, stressed that ‘Grupo Gallo aims to make it easier for consumers to prepare their meals, reducing time in the kitchen without sacrificing quality, flavour or health benefits’.

Santafé also pointed out that today’s consumers are not only looking for quick and easy-to-prepare products, but also prefer lighter and easily digestible options. The demand for convenience products has grown considerably in recent years, and Grupo Gallo has designed its Pasta 3 Minutos varieties with this trend in mind, thus offering a comprehensive response to consumers‘ needs,’ she explained.

In the words of Montse Santafé, ‘at Pastas Gallo we are aware that time is a valuable resource. That is why we have developed this line of pastas that not only can be prepared in a short time, but also maintain the quality and flavour that our customers expect. We want our consumers to enjoy the experience of cooking their own pasta.

Grupo Gallo has expanded its ‘3 Minute Pasta’ range with the launch of a noodle that requires only one minute of cooking, thus covering the category of spoon dishes, in addition to the presentations already available for fork and salads.

With this commitment to quick-cooking pasta, Grupo Gallo seeks to replicate in the Spanish market the success that this segment has had in countries such as France, where demand is ten times greater.

The new line of quick-cooking pasta is available in different shapes and flavours, suitable for both fresh salads and hot dishes, and is already available in supermarkets and large supermarkets nationwide.
