MADRID, 30 (EUROPA PRESS) Fudeat, the corporate catering platform in Spain founded in 2017, has exceeded 87,000 orders between menu of the day and catering, which has driven a 42% growth in turnover to €3.1m in the first half of the year, it said in a statement.

Specifically, the company operates in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante and Malaga through its catering and restaurant marketplace, as well as organising events throughout Spain and Portugal. Thus, the firm has earned the trust of more than 900 companies and 500 suppliers, managing more than 16,000 orders per month.

The digital company that has established itself as one of the largest in the Corporate FoodTech sector in Spain has also experienced a significant increase in its gross margin with 116% (2.16x), while its gross operating profit (Ebitda) has grown by 300,000 euros compared to the same period last year.

In this way, Fudeat has set itself the target of reaching a turnover of 10 million euros in the next two years, and continues to consolidate its platform, adapted to the current demands of offices and employees who are looking for much more than a traditional catering service.

Fudeat’s CEO, Borja Boada, has pointed out that ‘trust, commitment and flexibility’ are fundamental pillars for the firm. We treat each order very carefully and we offer a customer service via email, chat or call because we want to remain close to our customers and to be able to resolve any incident as quickly as possible. I believe that these values are what really differentiate us and have made us who we are today’, he pointed out.
