Tuna is one of the most popular fish in the world, and Spain is one of the territories where the best quality species can be found.
This fish, besides being very tasty (either cooked or raw) is very rich in proteins of high biological value and in Omega-3 fatty acids, which is ideal for those who wish to have a balanced diet.
Due to its importance in the marine ecosystem and its positive impact on the blue sector economy, in December 2016, the United Nations Assembly approved the celebration of World Tuna Day every May 2. The commemoration of this day underlines the importance of sustainable fisheries management and conservation to prevent tuna stocks from declining dangerously.
Given this, it is very important to consume high quality tuna, and taking advantage that we are in season, here are five places to try this delicious fish in Madrid. Take note.
