After launching the Sonic Happy Meal, the fast food chain presents a new extension of cartoons or games that marked our childhood, such as Pokémon.

This exciting menu for generation Z and millennials revives their shared nostalgia in collaboration with the Pokémon TCG, while in Latin America it has been in conjunction with the Pokémon Horizon series, which includes a toy collection.

In this sense, in each country the ‘gifts’ and packagings have been adapted in a different way. In the US, the restaurant also includes TGC stickers with your favourite characters from the series on the menu, along with posters and the chance to get hourglasses. All of this inside boxes designed with portraits of Charizard, Pikachu or Dragonite, among others.

The Pokémon Happy Meal, which has been available in all McDonald’s Spain stores since yesterday 21 January, has returned after many years to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. To do so, it has brought the fun to the Happy Meal with a series of stickers inspired by six key avatars from the series: Charizard, Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Koraidon, Quagsire and Hatenna.

Fans will have the opportunity to get their hands on these special cards, which retain some of their original designs, such as the distinctive yellow border and McDonald’s unique holographic confetti design.
