We love plans that combine gastro and leisure and this one we bring you today, in addition, takes place in a unique location: the Torre Bellesguard, Gaudí’s building. From June 16 to 18 will take place the fifth edition of Eat Gaudí, the gastronomic market held in the gardens of this impressive modernist building and where you can enjoy the best of gastronomy, leisure and culture.
The premise is that the public can enjoy a fun and sustainable way, while premium, a wide range of stands and food trucks with the best brands, as well as workshops, tastings and live music for a complete experience. In addition, it is not every day that you have access to an event within a cultural heritage such as this work of Gaudí. Sustainability will also be present throughout the market, as they have eliminated single-use plastics and will bet on 0 km and seasonal ingredients.
Vermouth, showcooking, live music and much more
Among the activities that can be performed once the medieval walls surrounding the tower are crossed, in the stables room there will be workshops and tastings such as the preparation of a personalized vermouth by Las Vermudas University, an academy dedicated to the dissemination of this typical drink.
Haute cuisine will also have a place at the hands of El Palace Barcelona and a showcooking starring its chef, Jesús Caballero. In addition, they will also carry out their already legendary Art & Drinks, the sensory union of illustration and cocktails by illustrator Joel Miñana and Grey Goose Essences. There will also be wine, beer and gin and tonic tastings.
Attendees will also be able to try paellas and fideuàs from El Socarraet, ice cream from Trompa & Co, sweets from Waoo Cake Shop, Mexican food from Cachilapo Latin Food or cocktails from Ohmega, among many other options.
Eat Gaudí is also strongly committed to live music. In this fifth edition, visitors will be able to listen to live acoustic versions of Victor & Marky (June 17 at 4:30 pm), Queen and Pink Floyd by Cherish Band (June 17 at 7:30 pm) and the performance of Les Menines (June 18 at 1:00 pm) or the energy of the cajón and guitar of the Buena Onda duo (June 18 at 5:30 pm), among others.
