The star now incorporates doughnuts into her vibrant culinary display that includes lines of cake mixes, pans and a cookbook. Entitled ‘Southern Sweets Doughnut’, the collection is directly inspired by Parton’s imagery, drawing on some of the singer’s favourite southern flavours that remind her of home.
The sweetened assortment includes four delicious doughnuts presented in personalised Dolly boxes. Firstly, the ‘Dolly Dazzler Doughnut’: a strawberry glazed doughnut, decorated with glitter and topped with Dolly’s signature chocolate butterfly. On the other hand, the ‘Peachy Keen Cobbler Doughnut’ is filled with peach, covered with brown sugar glaze and crunchy cobbler topping.
For banana lovers, they also offer the ‘Banana Puddin’ Pie Doughnut’ filled with banana pudding made with KREME waffles and banana pudding, finished with swirls of white icing and wafer biscuit pieces. Finally, they incorporate the ‘Chocolate Crème Pie Doughnut’ topped with chocolate brownie buttercream, vanilla whipped topping and chocolate biscuit pieces.
The Krispy Kreme and Dolly Parton collaboration will be available until 16 June on the Krispy Kreme website and in selected shops.
