Cornamusa and Azotea Cibeles served the celebration dinner for the Spanish National Soccer Team

The winners celebrated their fourth European Championship from the skies above Madrid.

The Palacio de Cibeles, the historical enclave where the two latest openings of Azotea Grupo, Cornamusa and Azotea Cibeles, are located, became on the night of July 15 the stage where the Spanish National Football Team celebrated its victory, after euphorically touring the main streets of the capital.

The restaurants have an interior design that pays tribute to the history of Correos, signed by Alejandra Pombo‘s studio, and in which its decoration, lighting and furniture reflect the honesty of the materials: a concept that goes parallel to the gastronomic proposal offered.

A national tribute

There, a total of 450 guests linked by the passion of the red tide were able to enjoy the gastronomic proposal designed exclusively by Azotea Catering, with a menu inspired by the recipe book cañí and the product of Madrid; devised by Manuel Berganza, executive chef of Azotea Group and Jesus Almagro, head chef of this space. All this was dressed with the national flag, and paired with signature cocktails by mixologist Lucas Anastasio.

The culinary party thus materialized in the form of delicious dishes such as a steak tartar and bearnaise sauce toast, a Gazpacho prepared as a Bloody Mary, a Croustade of scorpion fish and Galician spider crab cake, a cheese, quince and liquorice fritter, a zucchini and basil pesto Bikini, a squid Croissant or an oxtail Bagel; among many other preparations and drinks with which they toasted and celebrated through gastronomy the fourth Euro Cup of the Spanish National Team.
