Coffee culture has become a religion in Australia. It is a ritual practiced by most of its inhabitants, who love its flavor and its intrinsic stimulating effect. However, curiously, coffee consumption in the country usually stops around 3 p.m., at which time the coffee shops close their doors leaving the inhabitants without their dose of caffeine.
Under this premise, Doritos Australia wanted to launch a limited edition of its coffee-flavored potato chips. A controversial combination that has aroused the attention, curiosity and global hunger of users, who comment on platforms such as Reddit: ‘Well, that’s a product intended for human consumption’ and ‘I knew this had to be Australia’.
That said, only 300 Australians will have the chance to win this coffee flavor. From July 3 to 17, 25 lucky ones will be selected through an Instagram sweepstakes in which users will have to comment on Doritos Australia’s post ‘what’s driving you crazy right now’.
