The rapper’s fan community -under the collective name Barbz- will celebrate ‘Barbz Day‘ in honour of Nicki Minaj at Chili’s on 24 October. The restaurant will offer bright pink blueberry-flavoured ‘Barbaritas’ and ‘Barbaritas Premium’.
To further elevate the iconicity of the event, Chili’s has also designed a t-shirt inspired by Minaj’s aesthetic for diners to win a free t-shirt in a sweepstakes to enter with a photo at Chili’s on the day of the celebration with the hashtag #chilisgrillandbarbz.
The party follows on from its inaugural celebration last year, when Chili’s tweeted a meme inspired by Minaj’s hit song ‘Super Freaky Girl’.
The wave of comments to that tweet revolutionised the platform, and even the rapper herself commented on the meme, giving birth to the crossover between Chili’s fans and Nicki Minaj’s fans that became ‘Barbz Day‘.
