On Thursday, July 11, Channing Tatum made a cameo appearance on the famous Fallon show to promote his new movie ‘Fly Me to the Moon’. During the interview, beyond putting the focus on the film, the actor talked about his attendance at his friend Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour concert in Los Angeles last year.
It all came in the wake of Jimmy Fallon showing the audience a snapshot of Tatum and Gayle King attending Swift’s Eras Tour concert at the city’s SoFi Stadium. From that instant, Tatum began to praise the different facets of the singer.
‘I was a fan of the music because I’ve listened to her forever, but I didn’t know she was such an unstoppable force,’ he began. To which he continued, ‘And she cooks you dinner with no trouble. Like homemade Pop-Tarts,’ she explained to Fallon, 49. ‘Hot Pop-Tarts,’ he continued, adding, ‘I’m like, ‘Did you just make them? How hot are they?’
Tatum’s praise for Swift’s homemade Pop-Tarts adds to that of other celebrities who in the past have also praised the pop icon’s creation; as did Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid when he said the singer had ‘made homemade Pop-Tarts for offensive linemen’. An act of love that ended up leading the brand itself to ask the singer to share her recipe.
