Soon, at 27 Jorge Juan Street, CEFERINO will open the doors of an irresistible universe and concept of Argentinean grill in which to live sensory experiences around the barbecue ceremony.
This restaurant, led by a group of Argentine friends with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, will serve its diners the gastronomic proposal of Argentine grill master José Antonio Figueroa, who has accumulated multiple awards and recognitions around the roast and grill as the World Champion -pig category- in the World Ancestral Grill World Championship in Medellin (Colombia) in 2022.
AN ODE TO ARGENTINA
“Cooking with fires is the most exciting way to be generous, it is enriching, it is magical. And it is synonymous with nurturing, wanting to offer, caring, loving. To ignite the embers is to spread passions,” explains Figueroa.
The chef will thus reflect in this restaurant his interpretation of the ancestral and primitive technique of fire cooking, as an ode to Argentina and to the grill that is the backbone of the whole project. A concept that is even related to the name of the restaurant itself, linked to the historical figure Ceferino Namuncurá: a young Mapuche Salesian priest who today is a very popular saint in Argentina.
Beyond the gastronomic proposal inspired by Argentine cuisine, its space is also enveloped in an atmosphere that evokes the ambiance and decoration of Argentine ranches with the same textures and noble materials: wood and marble and lighting with bronze chandeliers that are combined with textiles and color palettes in earth tones.
The space, conceptualized by the Jorge Campos studio, is divided into two floors and also has a large terrace on Jorge Juan Street itself from which to enjoy the outdoor experience.
