The chef Carme Ruscalleda has announced the closure of the Sant Pau restaurant in Tokyo (Japan) on September 2, in a message on Instagram collected by Europa Press.
Ruscalleda has explained that a dinner will be served to “thank” the 19 years in which the local has been open to suppliers, customers, workers and media of the city.
In a message on the restaurant’s account on the same social network he has assured that, from June 1, it will offer a “special” menu for customers.
“Sant Pau Restaurant opened its doors in Nihonbashi in April 2004.
We have been a grand maison of Catalan cuisine in Tokyo for 19 years and 6 months. Chef Carme Ruscalleda, the first woman in the world to achieve 7 Michelin stars, is not retiring. Our relationship with Chef Carme will continue and we may surprise you with new challenges with her”, highlights the publication of the restaurant in its social networks.
