The muses of music and pop culture are now teaming up to merge their dessert brands Whipshots -whipped cream with vodka- and Good Life Cakes to create boozy desserts to spice up the festive season.
The epic campaign launched on social media on 9 November, sending fans of both artists into shock with a teaser featuring them mixing their sweet potato pie and pumpkin-spiced whipped cream.
‘Let’s do pumpkin,’ Cardi B tells LaBelle in the video as she grabs a can of her Pumpkin Spice Whipshots to top LaBelle’s sweet potato pie. Pumpkin for sweet potato,’ the soul singer says, to which the ‘Bongos’ singer sarcastically replies: ‘They make love together, you gotta trust me.
Beyond desserts, the collaboration will span seven comedy episodes in which the stars will prepare iconic pairings that reflect the ‘Holiday Harmony’ spirit of the culinary union.
LaBelle’s Good Life Pies are available at Walmart, while Cardi B’s Whipshots can be found at shops like Total Wine and DoorDash.
