The alcohol industry’s collective of expert palates gathered once again this year to taste countless spirits from all over the world. The event was part of the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC), the results of which have just been published.
If we focus on the winners in the IWSC vodka subcategory, there was one distillate that rose above the rest. And that was Prosperous vodka, made by the Kriol distillery.
This liquid expression made in Cape Verde with water and a very special wheat variety, scored a sublime 99 out of 100, giving the vodka a world class status achieved through its perfect balance of notes, as expressed by the judges of the competition.
An attractive nose with aromas of bread. A tingle of warmth from the spices welcomes you on the palate, complementing a pleasant grain backbone. Pleasantly textured and enjoyable to drink.’
