Ben Affleck is in the news and not only for having recently released the movie ‘Air’, based on the origin of the Air Jordan, the line of sneakers that Nike launched with Michael Jordan. The actor and director has also just launched the new Dunkin campaign and has gone viral again, after the ad he starred in with his wife, Jennifer Lopez, during the Super Bowl halftime show.
In the brand’s new campaign, which Affleck himself has directed and starred in, the American once again shows his love for Dunkin’ Run and also uses humor again for an ad that has gone viral once again. In the video, Affleck enters a Dunkin’s store to propose to the employees an idea for the new Dunkin’ Run campaign (a doughnut offer for $1, Bagel Minis for $2 or an egg with sausage and cheese for $3 if you buy a coffee). The performer, sarcastically, explains that he comes to promote the product, but he doesn’t advertise, because he’s a “real actor.” This is just an art form for him.
Then, the local employees realize that he is an actor, but confuse him with another superstar, Matt Damon, Affleck’s close friend and business partner. Finally Ben leaves the shop happy with his coffee and his offer.
Ben Affleck, a Dunkin’ Dunkin’ lover
His love for the coffee and donut chain is well known. Affleck has even commented in several interviews that he can eat Dunkin every day and he finds their products “incredible”. In fact, it is more than common for the paparazzi to publish photos of the actor strolling the streets of Los Angeles with some Dunkin in his hands. These eight images are just a few examples.
Another example of Ben Affleck’s fanaticism for Dunkin was his campaign for the last Super Bowl, which he starred in alongside Jennifer Lopez. You can check it out here.
