The creative ice cream supplier continues to surprise with its latest exotic ice cream created in collaboration with Uber. A flavor with which they offer a unique twist on a seasonal staple: barbecue.
Known for its ephemeral line of limited edition flavors, Van Leeuwen now debuts ‘BBQ Gold Cornbread Crumble‘ made with a sweet ice cream base flavored with harvest corn, and chunks of honey cornbread and a sweet and sour BBQ swirl.
The price is $10.50 per tub, but Uber One members will get a 10% discount and will also be able to buy them in person at Van Leeuwen stores across the US with a membership card.
But it doesn’t end there, and the vehicle company adds to the launch an action linked to its DNA, and will tour the city of New York with a customized ice cream truck offering the ‘One BBQ Gold Cornbread Crumble’ in certain enclaves such as Madison Square Park or Washington Square Park.
