Bareto, the project that reclaims and recovers the lifelong brewery of Barbillón Family & Corp, raises its sales by 23% in 2024, reaching 10 million euros after closing the year with a dozen premises in the Community of Madrid, as reported in a statement.

Specifically, the ensign, which was born in December 2021 with the opening of the first premises in Alcalá 55, a space that housed the mythical Cervecería Correos, has consolidated in the region where it has opened three new spaces (Caleido, Islas Filipinas and Majadahonda) in 2024. In addition, it has a staff of 180 workers and creates more than 75 indirect jobs.

This expansion will continue over the next year, as the company’s growth plan for 2025 includes the opening of four new stores in the Madrid region.

Bareto is a tribute to the bar of a lifetime. It is a space that was born with the aim of paying tribute to authenticity and spaces where spontaneous encounters occur, those spaces that generate magic and bonds between people around a tapa and a beer’, explained the director of operations at Barbillón Family & Corp, José Manuel González.

The executive pointed out that Bareto has become one of the group’s ‘most important’ business lines, representing around 40% of the Barbillón Family & Corp conglomerate.

‘We expect to continue this line of growth in 2025, a year in which we plan to continue improving our offer and continue to grow in number of premises -one per quarter-. In 2025 there will be a stronger commitment to traditional cuisine and the ‘comfort food’ concept in the proposal,’ he said.

In this way, Bareto already has a presence in different Madrid neighborhoods, in addition to becoming part of Ifema’s gastronomy and having a presence at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport with spaces in both Terminal 2 and T4.
