It is a classic of any American barbecue. Barbecue ribs are one of those dishes that almost everyone likes and, now that it’s time for family and friends meals, it’s a recipe that never fails. We show you the step by step so you can prepare them at home and succeed. Take note!
Barbecue Ribs Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pork rib
- Ketchup
- Half a chopped onion
- Vinegar
- Olive oil
- Honey
- Brown sugar
- Garlic powder
- Mustard seeds
- Tabasco
- Salt
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 170 ºC, while wrapping the ribs with aluminum foil.
- Bake the ribs for an hour and a half.
- To prepare the barbecue sauce, take a saucepan with a splash of olive oil and pour all the ingredients. When it starts to boil, reduce the heat to low and mix all the ingredients well until it reduces and the sauce thickens. Approximately 15 minutes. To make it compact, you can mash it well.
- Once you bake the ribs for the first time, take them out of the oven and bathe them with the barbecue sauce.
- Bake again for 10 minutes at 180 ºC on one side.
- Then repeat the process by turning them over. Baste well with the barbecue sauce and bake again for another 10 minutes.
- If you like them well done, you can leave the ribs 10 minutes more, adding more barbecue sauce again.
- Serve on a plate with french fries and coleslaw. Enjoy!
