Bar Llama arrives in the Salesas neighbourhood, bringing the cosmopolitan essence of the Big Apple to the capital, based on the Peruvian identity with which it has been leading haute cuisine in New York since 2015 at its restaurant Llama Inn, garnering culinary accolades with its tasty Latin American dishes.
This cocktail bar designed with minimalist elements illuminated by a dim light, is installed as a Madrid tribute to New York and Peru, under the mandate of Natasha Bermúdez, bar director of the Llama group and one of the most prominent mixologists in NY.
She has been in charge of designing the liquid menu of this new space where diners will now be able to savour the depth of her personalised experiences such as her Pisco Sour, where customers can choose their favourite brand or taste her wide variety of piscos beforehand, always with advice from the bartenders at the bar.
The liquid menu
The bar presents a proposal of cocktails to pair with snacks, orchestrated through three categories: the ‘Llama Classics‘, with variations of classic cocktails by nature and prestige in Llama such as the Chupetini (Martini variation), Yayo Hipster or the Llama del Rey (Punch).
Beyond this twist on the classics, the menu features the ‘Nuestro Mood Actual‘, which offers a selection of changing cocktails with seasonal products, as well as the ‘Zero Proof‘, which serves a non-alcoholic alternative, including three combinations based on vegetables and fruits such as apple or pineapple.
The cocktail experience is completed with a menu of Latin American-inspired snacks, such as chicken anticucho with chimichurri and aji amarillo, crudités with white garlic aioli or oysters with caper vinaigrette.
