Rumours of Nestea‘s demise spread across the internet at the end of the year, playing with the hearts of its community. However, let’s remember that since 1 January Damm took over the manufacture of the drink, and that yes, it will continue to be part of our lives.
Based on the supposed desperation that the new generations may have experienced, the new Nestea campaign is inspired by the life of a group of flatmates who end up celebrating that ‘yes, there is Nestea’, in which the famous streamer Auronplay also participates.
The spot reaffirms Nestea‘s commitment to being part of people’s lives every day in a sarcastic ad that seeks to strengthen the emotional bond with all of them. It is an idea developed by the creative agency Smäll, directed by the filmmaker Laura Sisteró for the production company Agosto.
Through humour, it shows the desperation of the young Nestea lovers when they hear the rumour that ‘there is no Nestea’. However, everything changes when they find out that there is, and a collective party is thrown. Auron Play appears at the end of the spot, in a supposed live broadcast, from which he announces to all his followers that, indeed, ‘there is Nestea’.
