The catering and chef duo of Iván Morales and Álvaro Castellanos celebrate their iconic legacy with the opening of Arzábal Bernabéu. Grupo Arzábal has now taken on a new dimension after reinventing traditional gastronomy for 15 years with this new temple to traditional cuisine with seating for 160 diners.

The passion for authenticity and respect for the product that characterises it will once again make an impact from ‘the kitchen to the heart’ of all the group’s fans who now want to taste its new ‘arzabalera’ proposal with privileged views of the stadium.

The fandom of Arzábal and Real Madrid will thus be able to enjoy its gastronomy in a more intimate way from its private dining room, as well as at its high tables that follow in the wake of Arzábal Retiro, the group’s flagship, where traditional cuisine is mixed with its gastronomic bar.

Tradition and innovation

To carry out the project, orchestrated around 500 m2 divided into two floors, Iván and Álvaro have entrusted the architecture studio FONDO ESTUDIO and the design and interior design studio MIL Studios to build and design this space. They wanted to maintain the concrete pillars of the original structure and combine them with other elements such as marble and wood, which bring warmth to the place.

‘We are present in the most emblematic places in the capital: in El Retiro, in the Reina Sofía, at the airport and in the Mercado de San Miguel. We only needed to be in the Madrid temple, and that is why we are so excited to announce this opening. Undoubtedly, the great challenge of the new space is to design a proposal capable of responding to a very diverse public’, commented Iván Morales and Álvaro Castellanos. Since its beginnings in 2009, Grupo Arzábal has managed to establish itself in some of the city’s key points: the Arzábal tavern in the Retiro district, El Jardín de Arzábal in the Reina Sofía and now Arzábal Bernabéu in the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. In addition to all this, the Arzábal Market, Hermanos Pollo and Madrí brands are located in the San Miguel Market and in T4 Satélite at Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas airport.
