Angel Reese is revolutionizing the game, both on and off the court. The Chicago Sky basketball star has now made that stellar impact by teaming up with McDonald’s to launch a meal that marks a collective milestone as the first athlete to collaborate with the chain.

Their 5-star menu features the new ‘BBQ Bacon Quarter Pounder®‘ burger smothered in a smoky BBQ sauce, to which is added a layer of crispy bacon with melted American cheese, onions and crispy pickles. All this inside two slices of soft and fluffy sesame seed hamburger bun, accompanied by fries and a Hi-C Orange Lavaburst, or other beverage of choice.

Reese, a lifelong McDonald’s fan, shared her excitement about the collaboration in an official statement. ‘McDonald’s has always been an important part of my life, from enjoying a McChicken® as a child to being named a McDonald’s All-American in 2020,’ she said. ‘It’s truly a dream come true to be the first female athlete in history to have my own food and be a part of the incredible McDonald’s basketball legacy.’

The collaboration is illustrated with a nostalgic campaign filled with nods to McDonald’s basketball history: from the iconic McDonald’s All American Games to the collaborations they’ve had over the years with basketball superstars, where, more often than not, the Quarter Pounder and Cheese was at the center of it all. The Angel Reese Special” menu will be available starting February 10 at McDonald’s U.S. locations.
