The third season of ‘The White Lotus’ has arrived on HBO, and, in it, Aimee Lou is one of the most anticipated actresses. In the social satire, the actress plays Chelsea, a ‘free spirit’ who is on holiday with her boyfriend Rick, an older man who is ‘on the edge,’ according to a press release.
To shoot it, the ‘Sex Education’ star spent seven months in Thailand during which she became ‘addicted’ to coconut. ‘I got addicted to fresh coconuts, and it turns out they’re very, very, very, very, very, very cheap on the beach, but obviously I was ordering them at the Four Seasons, and because they had the Four Seasons stamp on them, they cost [a lot of money],’ Wood exclusively told PEOPLE.

‘So, at the end, I was, like, living this life of luxury, but then my account, when we were checking out, I was like, “How much were those coconuts” – because I was pushing the button, like, “I want another one, I want another one, I want another one,” because …. I was in a place where you could eat fresh coconuts,’ he continued. Even after HBO funded some expenses for filming the series, the actress continued to overindulge.
