In constant connection with the artistic universe, Absolut now joins Carmen Mora, Cesc Abad and Lola Zoido to version their cocktails ‘Absolut Mule’, ‘Bloody Mary’ and ‘Vodka Toni’.
This is a new series framed in its campaign ‘The World of Absolut Cocktails‘ with which the brand once again promotes inclusion and diversity, as values that lie at the core of creation of the Absolut universe.
The avant-garde series
All these elements are channeled into three collaborative works designed by Spanish talents that combine conceptual, aesthetic, historical and emotional elements. First of all, Carmen Mora versions the ‘Vodka Tonic‘ in her work ‘Desborde‘, which takes us to the arctic ice, playing with the solid and the liquid, the visible and the invisible. This is materialized as a transformation of water into ice with which she elevates the greatness of the iconic cocktail, achieving a work in citrus color that evokes the slice of lime / lemon.
Cesc Abad reinterprets the ‘Bloody Mary‘ cocktail that now takes the form of a pictorial vase. A piece that channels the celebration of life, along with the passion and inspiration felt by the Barcelona artist.
In parallel, Lola Zoido‘s work immerses us in a more digitalized spectrum by exploring the way in which we construct our reality through virtual processes. A concept she evokes in ‘Absolut Mule‘, which responds to the question of how a landscape reflected on the surface of a drink would look like, generated by AI from textual and chromatic descriptions of Moscow Mule itself.
This collection of works will also be exhibited in Absolut’s gallery-cocktail bar at the UVNT’24 Art Fair to be held at Matadero Madrid, from March 7 to 10. In that space, in addition to appreciating the sculptural pieces, it will also be possible to enjoy the cocktails of this exclusive collaboration.
