Princess Leonor began her training cruise on Juan Sebastián Elcano on 8 January, before setting course for her first destination, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on 11 January.
Before entering the depths of the sea, the heir to the throne wanted to make a stop at one of the most legendary bar-restaurants on the quay where the ship is located. Both the Princess of Asturias and her companions would eat on the terrace of Muelle 1, dressed in the navy blue uniform of the Navy.
This spanish bar, which bases its proposal on the reinterpretation of Spanish recipes, has idyllic views of the Paseo de Canalejas, and is known for organising multiple musical and sporting events such as flamenco concerts or football match viewings. Although the dishes that Leonor’s group would share, or that she would taste alone, are unknown, it is known that the princess would enjoy this moment chatting with her companions in a cheerful and relaxed manner.
