Here at Tapas we’ve compiled the best plans to make the most of the weekend in Barcelona and indulge in hedonism between cultural and gastronomic experiences, festivals, events and museums. Grab your diary and take note of our weekly proposal.
FRIDAY 10TH
This Friday Yung Beef will help us cope much better with the ‘back to the office’ and/or the reactivation of work after the holidays. As part of his ‘Day of the Beast’ tour, the Spanish trap pioneer turned fashion icon will now take to the stage of the Palau de Sant Jordi club to mark a new milestone in the history of the genre. Tickets are currently sold out, but you can always join the waiting list here.
SATURDAY 11
On Saturday we will go thrifting at the well-known Flea Sales Market in Barcelona, this time at Potassi K19. Art Gallery. From 10 to 19 January, this exclusive market dedicated to vintage and second-hand clothing will debut its first sales edition. For 10 days, transform your wardrobe with unique and sustainable pieces, carefully selected to offer you timeless and affordable fashion’.
After shopping, we’ll stop for lunch at Lluritu 3, the city’s new casual seafood restaurant. This ‘caní’ inspired restaurant-bar, which reimagines the concept of the classic seafood restaurant through the avant-garde, bases its proposal on ‘affordable’ rice and seafood dishes made with fresh, quality products. There, we will taste some of its seafood iterations to share from its terrace under the sun, such as its marinated sardines, its dry seafood rice with cuttlefish, prawns and mussels, and its prawns with broken eggs.
SUNDAY 12
Our classic Sunday brunch will take place this time at Federal Café in the Sant Antoni neighbourhood. From their hidden rooftop, we’ll enjoy a matcha accompanied by their Turkish eggs with feta cream, their salmon toast with avocado and burrata, as well as their pancakes with syrup and banana to complete the sweet-savoury hybrid. If brunch isn’t your thing, though, you can always opt to eat there and sample nutritious dishes like their new crispy chicken salad with toasted almonds, yoghurt vinaigrette and their tomato and onion picada. Where? Passatge de la Pau, 11 – 08002 Barcelona.
We’ll close the weekend in style with an electronic party. And not just any party, but the KELLER party at Pacha Barcelona. There, the DJs Basswell, Alt8, BIIA, ODIL, some of the most prominent figures of the clubber scene worldwide, will gather in the booth. Get your ticket here.
The SIGHT party started its weekly residency at the legendary Pacha Barcelona club in 2017 and after establishing itself as the best Sunday electronic party in the city it expanded the brand by creating events at the best clubs in the world.
