LATERAL is in full swing, having succeeded with new locations such as Caleido in Madrid. Currently, the chain, which has 17 locations, 13 of them in Madrid and the rest in cities such as Barcelona, Valencia, Zaragoza and Malaga, will open its first franchise in 2025 in “Paseo del Mar” in the port of Torrevieja, a new project that will have a wide range of restaurants and leisure with cinemas and bowling. In that space, it will install its new Lateral restaurant that will extend over an area of 370.86 m2, with glass terrace and outdoor terrace overlooking the sea.
This milestone marks the beginning of a new stage in the expansion of the brand, which since its foundation in 1997 has not stopped growing to become a benchmark in the sector with a gastronomic experience based on contemporary tapas with simple dishes or tapas with a modern twist.
The company plans to open both directly managed and franchised units from 2025, always betting on unique locations in cities and urban environments, maintaining the brand’s commitment to offer its customers a different experience in spaces with aesthetically pleasing designs.
